Demons are the Disembodied Spirits of Dead Nephilim
Demons exist as the spirits of dead hybrid beings from the Nephilim. This, according to ancient tradition and the various writings of the Intertestamental literature found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. In the days of Jesus these beings are spoken of often as causing great damage among the people of God. It is interesting that they are causing problems today as well, although we probably attribute too much power to them. Demons are in reality lower-level beings who cause mischief and trouble for mankind, while the lesser gods (“elohim”) are those beings who control or cause many geopolitical squabbles, and who rule over territorial or geographical areas. Although conjecture, I suspect that demons and the devil may emphasize atheistic views, sexual immorality, pedophilia and murder while lesser gods may encourage pagan worship of themselves, bestiality, occult rituals and war. Certainly, many of their aberrant behaviors and perversions overlap.
